Hello I’m Maud..
Mama to 2, wife to 1, photographer & designer based in Rhineland-Palatinate.
Welcome to my story, browse through my thoughts on life, style, the things that make my heart sing and find out how life clicks for me.
Hi, I’m Maud, the owner of Studio MS Photography. Ever since I completed my studies in Marketing and Communication Design in the Netherlands in 2011, I’ve been following my passion for photography, marketing and design. Turning ideas into beautiful, lasting creations has been my dream from the very start.
In 2015, my husband and I moved to Germany, and shortly after, I was able to bring that dream to life by opening my own photography and design studio.
We were blessed with two beautiful daughters in 2016 and 2021, who constantly inspire me in both life and work. Being a photographer allows me to combine my love for creativity with the joy of connecting with people, and I feel incredibly lucky to do what I love every day!

I’m deeply passionate about capturing the emotions for my clients, and I truly feel honored each time I’m invited to those intimate moments of life! In 2016 I opened my business in Germany and I just love providing a unique experience. Every client and their story is unique and capturing it, is my true passion.
Where my mind is at…
I love my slow mornings with a cup of tea, walks with my dog through the fields and cuddle times with my girls.
I go to bed late. I work hard and over procrastinate. I’m permanently positive, my head is always spinning with new ideas and I like to dream big.

Picked up my first camera
After graduating high-school I was sure I wanted a career in the creative field. Funny thing is, my goal was to be an interior designer… I loved sketching, creating moodboads and just visualising new ways to go about a project. I was accepted at Sint Lucas, a design school near Eindhoven (The Netherlands). And well that’s where my journey in the creative world started.
In the first years’ curriculum was also photography included. So I purchased my first DSLR, a Canon… (and yes still a Canon girl) and never laid it down again.
My side hustle when I was 16, was offering portrait sessions for 50 bucks in my mom’s home, I had a friend that went to school to become a hair and make-up artist and together we had a whole thing going. I guess the business part was always there ha!

Education
In 2011 I completed my studies in 3D Marketing, Concept & Communication Design in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. After that, I started working as an Art Director at a trend forecasting and design studio. I loved working the bigger projects, tackling all facets of what companies need and tailoring to bring new ideas and concepts to life.

Moved to Germany
In 2015, my husband and I moved to Germany, and shortly after, I decided it was time for my own business for photography and design. I love the combination of working B2B (business-to-business) as well as personal clients. Being able to combine my love for design and marketing as well as my passion for capturing peoples stories through my lens truly makes my heart sing.

Welcomed our first baby
In February 2017 we welcomed our first daughter, a beautiful baby girl. Stepping into motherhood was a whole new journey and my love for motherhood and newborn photography started growing even more.

With just a 15 minute drive from Ramstein, and a 30-minute drive from Baumholder and Kaiserslautern I’m able to serve the entire KMC area.
the collection
A diverse range of swaddles, outfits and even toys are available at your session. All the props, outfits and accessories are based on neutral, soft colors.
For the mothers, there’s a beautiful collection of dresses available variating from maternity dresses to regular dresses. For the newborns, there’s a diverse collection of floral headbands, tie-backs, bonnets, and outfits available. And even for the older kids age 6 month – 10, there is a collection of basic outfits as well as dresses for the girls.
There is also a selection of safe wooden toys for the kids to play with. This way we keep the session natural and fun!
It’s always possible to meet prior to your session to discuss your view and wishes for the session, (on appointment only).
